Who am I?
Hypnotherapist & Integrative Therapist – Bristol UK
My Background
I am a queer, mixed-heritage & neurodivergent therapist, and these identities deeply shape how I hold space in my work. They allow me to meet differences with respect and affirmation, and to understand how it feels to navigate a world that often misunderstands or others.
My work has been shaped by years of practice alongside people from marginalised communities, including autistic adults and young people, asylum seekers, refugees, and survivors of modern-day slavery, as well as those experiencing crisis related to drug use or mental health. This has taught me to listen closely with compassion, to hold complexity without judgement, and to value each person’s unique story.
My approach is informed by decolonial thinking, meaning I recognise how wider systems, including personal histories, cultural narratives, and structural inequalities, shape our lives and our sense of self. Working therapeutically with this awareness allows not only for individual growth and understanding but also for a deeper connection to the broader, interconnected landscape of justice, collective healing, and change.
Alongside this, I believe the body carries its own wisdom and often speaks where words cannot. I integrate embodied practices into my work, gently inviting awareness of the body’s signals as another pathway to connecting with oneself and the wider systems. This approach is informed by many years of personal engagement with dance and embodiment practices, which shape how I attend to movement, sensation, and felt experience within the therapeutic space.
At the heart of my approach is the belief that you already carry deep knowledge about what you need. Integrative therapy and hypnotherapy can support the deepening of this personal trust, offering a way to access inner resources, intuition, and understanding that may feel less available in everyday awareness. My role is to walk alongside you, supporting and affirming this process, and creating space for that inner wisdom to be recognised and trusted.
Living in Bristol, I can offer sessions in-person and online. If this sounds like something you'd like to explore further, feel free to send me a message.
